About Us

Jaime Gmach co-founded Evolving Solutions 30 years ago and continues to lead the company today as its CEO. Together with the extended Evolving Solutions team, Jaime has built the company into a leading technology solution provider focused on helping enterprise clients modernize and automate their mission-critical infrastructure to support digital transformation.  He represents the organization externally on several vendor and partner Advisory Councils.

In conjunction with a continued focus on the delivery of modern infrastructure solutions, Evolving Solutions is investing in the development of new and innovative business practices to support clients’ success on their journey toward a hybrid cloud operating model.

In addition to Evolving Solutions, Jaime founded Keyva, a services organization focused on cloud automation, orchestration and DevOps in 2018.

One of Jaime’s true passions in life is giving back to the communities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. He has led multiple Evolving Solutions and Keyva philanthropic initiatives in which the companies provided technology, financial and labor support to charitable organizations throughout the region.

Bo Gebbie was appointed president of Evolving Solutions in August 2021. In this role, Bo is responsible for the P&L and daily operations of the company. Bo joined Evolving Solutions in January 2017 as the Vice President of Sales, Services and Marketing. He is a member of the Executive and Management Teams and represents the organization externally on several vendor and partner Advisory Councils.

Bo and team develop the quarterly and annual sales strategies/targets, services offerings, marketing programs and cross-team KPIs. Additionally, Bo leads senior level relationships with key principals at clients, manufacturers, and other technology organizations.

Before joining Evolving Solutions, Bo was an IBM executive, serving last as Vice President of Server Solution Sales, North America. In that role, he had sales and profit responsibility for a $3B portfolio across IBM’s Power Systems, Mainframe, and Server Linux brands. Prior to that, Bo was the Business Unit Executive, Power Systems Sales, North America.

Bo served on the IBM Systems Worldwide Transformation Advisory Council, North America “Think” strategy team, IBM Systems Change Agents Task Force and was a member of the IBM Faculty. Annually, he served as the executive sponsor for several New Seller Journey cohorts within IBM’s Global Sales School program.

Bo has a finance degree from the University of Evansville and an MBA from Creighton University. He is the president of the board of Nebraska HOBY Youth Leadership, chairperson of the University of Evansville Board of Visitors, and vice chairperson of the Educational Foundation Board of Lambda Chi Alpha. Bo has previously served as the Treasurer of Hanscom Park Church, a member of the Omaha Central High School Hall of Fame Selection Committee, and as a facilitator for Junior Achievement, Impact Leadership, and Campus Speak.

Michael Downs is Chief Technology Officer of Evolving Solutions. As chief technology officer, Michael leads our team of experts focused on helping clients solve their most challenging problems. He is constantly evaluating emerging technologies and sharing that information with Evolving Solutions’ technical teams so they can better help clients address their business challenges.

Michael joined Evolving Solutions in 2014 to develop solutions for our clients across hardware and software, both on and off premise.

For more than 20 years, he has created architecture—including hybrid cloud, high performance computing, integration, automation, and end user computing—to solve complex business problems. His broad technology, business, and industry experience provides valuable perspective to our clients working to implement innovative technologies that support their success.

Kory Kutchmarek is the Chief Financial Officer for Evolving Solutions. He is responsible for operations, legal, and all financial components of the company, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, treasury, tax, risk management, and internal audit.

Kory brings more than 17 years of experience to his role and has established a proven record of shaping financial strategy to position organizational resources for meaningful growth. Prior to joining the company, Kory served as the Chief Financial Officer of The Barcode Group, a Minneapolis-based consumer brand agency. He previously held finance, investment, and accounting leadership positions with The Sierra Company, Tonka Bay Equity Partners, and Ernst & Young.

Kory holds a degree in accounting from The College of St. Scholastica and he is a is a CPA (inactive). He lives in Plymouth, Minnesota, with his wife and three children and enjoys playing hockey and golf.

Trent Bernatz is a Director of Sales with Evolving Solutions. He is seasoned sales leader with a proven record of driving revenue growth and building strategic client relationships across the technology industry. He joined Evolving Solutions in 2017 as a Client Executive supporting the organization’s most strategic accounts and was promoted to his current role in March 2025.

With more than two decades of experience, Trent has held key sales leadership roles at Rubrik, Cleversafe, NetApp, and Cisco. At Rubrik, he was instrumental in establishing the company’s first sales presence in the Central United States, hiring and developing 10 sales teams and securing the region’s first 40 clients.

Known for his entrepreneurial mindset and focus on sales culture, Trent excels at developing and executing sales and channel partner strategies, penetrating net-new accounts, and consistently exceeding revenue targets. His experience across both startup and enterprise technology environments uniquely positions him to lead diverse sales teams focused on sustained growth.

Jason Blake is Director of Technology and Business Integration at Evolving Solutions. In this new role, he is responsible for driving the integration of core business applications, including the company’s ERP, CRM, quoting, collaboration, and automation platforms, ensuring seamless collaboration across the organization.

Jason works closely with key stakeholders to enhance business processes, improve efficiency, and support long-term organizational growth. He is also responsible for managing the IT budget and team, maintaining security compliance, and optimizing the company’s internal/client lab environment.  His leadership will ensure that employees have the technology tools and training to drive success, growth, and innovation across the organization.

Jason joined Evolving Solutions in 2020 as Director of Service Delivery, responsible for leading all consulting and professional services engagements. Previously, he worked in engineering and IT service leadership roles at leading technology companies, where he gained extensive knowledge in offering management, service delivery, strategy, and technology transformation.

Jason graduated with a degree in Management Information Systems from Pennsylvania State University. In his free time, Jason is an avid cyclist, homebrewer, and pitmaster. He lives in Excelsior, MN, with his wife, son, and two Labrador retrievers.

Kayla Hanson is a Director of Sales at Evolving Solutions. She joined the organization in March 2025. Kayla is a results-driven sales leader with a proven track record of technology industry success. She is responsible for leading the company’s growth market initiatives and sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and strengthening client and partner relationships.

Prior to joining Evolving Solutions, she served as the Regional Sales Manager for US Commercial Select at Cisco. In her former role, Kayla led the field sales team covering a four-state region and was responsible for over $100 million in annual product and service revenue. Throughout her tenure at Cisco, Kayla held multiple leadership roles, including Regional Sales Manager for US Commercial Mid-East and Mid-Central, leading teams to achieve 100% attainment and record business growth.

Kayla brings vast experience in technology sales and leadership, with a proven track record of building high-performing teams, securing numerous Enterprise Agreements, and delivering consistent YoY business growth. Her entrepreneurial spirit and client-centric approach have been key to her success.

Kayla holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Minnesota State University Moorhead and an associate’s degree in general studies from Minnesota State Community & Technical College. Kayla’s positive attitude, accountability, and leadership are the pillars that drive her success and empower her team.

Kelly Hirner is Director of Marketing for Evolving Solutions. In this role, she is responsible for the marketing and communications strategies that advance the Evolving Solutions brand, engage clients and partners, and contribute to the company’s growth.

Kelly has over 20 years of technology and IT services experience across a variety of marketing and communication management and leadership roles. Prior to joining Evolving Solutions, she served as the Senior Director of Client Marketing for Gainwell Technologies, where she co-led the launch of the healthcare IT company’s brand and oversaw client marketing programs and strategies.

Kelly graduated from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities with a degree in Journalism.

Jessie Novey is the Head of People and Culture at Evolving Solutions.  In her role, Jessie guides the team in shaping a vibrant, values-driven culture while driving employee engagement, talent development, and cultural alignment with business objectives.

Jessie has a strong background in talent management, executive coaching, compensation, organizational development, change management, HR operations, and diversity and inclusion strategies. She has served in key leadership roles at Brown & Caldwell, C.H. Robinson, and Attérro Human Capital Group, where she led significant organizational transformations and improved performance and profitability.

At Evolving Solutions, Jessie collaborates with the leadership team to develop and execute HR strategies that align with business objectives. She oversees talent acquisition and development, is a champion of the company’s Core Values, and drives initiatives to enhance employee engagement and inclusivity.

Jessie holds a BA in Communication Studies from Winona State University and is certified by the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM-SCP) and the Human Resources Certification Institute (PHR).

Alissa Onell is the Director of Revenue Operations for Evolving Solutions. In this role, Alissa is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and overseeing the operational activities of the company. She is instrumental in developing and implementing operational systems, tools, and processes across departments that will scale the company’s continued growth.

Alissa joined Evolving Solutions in 2018 as the Controller. During this time, she has implemented a new financial and accounting system, modernized financial policies and procedures, and teamed with the sales team on deal structuring.

Alissa has over 20 years of experience in accounting, operations, and logistics. Prior to joining Evolving Solutions, she held leadership positions at several software companies ranging from start-ups to well-established organizations. Her work is fueled by a genuine passion for organizational improvement and developing people and processes.

Alissa holds a degree in accounting and management from The College of St. Scholastica.

Tony Peters is the Practice Director for the Networking and Security organizations at Evolving Solutions. In this role, Tony is responsible for leading a team of highly skilled technical, sales, and services professionals spanning networking, network security, and cyber. He also defines the strategy for both practices and oversees the delivery of best-in-class solutions to our clients.

Tony joined Evolving Solutions in 2021 as the Practice Director for Networking. He was announced in his expanded leadership role in July 2024. Tony brings almost 25 years of experience leading the design, testing, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale enterprise networks as well as information security.

Prior to joining Evolving Solutions, Tony was a Senior Solutions Architect with Cisco. He supported a diverse large enterprise client base adopt leading classic and emerging SDN technologies and hybrid cloud solutions.

Tony is married with six children. He lives northeast of the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area where he is active in coaching youth sports. He also enjoys beekeeping, hunting and fishing in his free time.

Anne Whigham is Assistant Controller at Evolving Solutions. She was named to the role in January 2025 after first joining the company as Accounting Manager in 2021. She is responsible for overseeing accounting operations, managing financial processes and controls, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Anne has nearly 20 years of experience in accounting and financial management. Prior to joining Evolving Solutions, she held progressive leadership roles at Avionte Staffing Software, Calabrio, Inc., and Quantum Retail Technology where she developed a strong foundation in financial oversight, leading finance/accounting/treasury team operations, and managing financial processes.

Anne holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a focus on Accounting and Finance from the University of New Hampshire Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics. She is committed to continuous learning and professional development in order to stay at in front of industry trends and advancements.

She lives in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, with her husband and two children.

Ryan Wuellner is the Services Delivery Team Lead at Evolving Solutions. In this role, he leverages his extensive experience in technology and project management to deliver innovative solutions for our clients.

Ryan is responsible for all consulting and professional services engagements with clients. He leads a team with a wide background of experience across hybrid cloud, data center, and software solutions and a focus on solving complex challenges and ensuring successful outcomes.

Prior to joining Evolving Solutions, Ryan held key positions at Five Nines, Marco Technologies, and Fishback Financial. This diverse experience has provided him with a deep understanding of various industries and the ability to adapt to different business and technology challenges.

Ryan specializes in project management, systems engineering, and client relations. He is known for his strategic approach, problem-solving skills, and dedication to delivering high-quality results. His leadership and collaborative mindset combined with his ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders has been key to ensuring successful project outcomes.

Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from Millikin University. His commitment to continuous learning and professional development enables him to stay at the forefront of industry advancements.
